This project was designed around the contrast between softness and structure. The clouds interrupt the portrait and create the surreal focal point, while the darker geometric base keeps the composition grounded, directional, and readable over time.

At 4 years healed, the softer cloud forms have become more diffused, as expected, while the main portrait and dark lower shape remain the visual anchors of the piece. The result still reads clearly because the composition was built around strong hierarchy rather than relying only on delicate surface detail.

At one month healed, the piece already looked calmer and more settled, with the softer shading blending more naturally into the skin. The darker base and main portrait structure continued to anchor the design clearly.

Fresh, the piece showed its full range of contrast, from very soft cloud transitions to the deep black geometric base. The portrait, clouds, and dark lower shape were all clearly separated, giving the composition a strong surreal feel while keeping the structure readable.

This case shows how soft, atmospheric elements can age successfully when the main composition is anchored by strong structure and contrast.
