TATTOO DESIGNER

A tattoo can look impressive on day one and still lose clarity later. These are the things that matter once the skin has healed and the ink has settled.

Readability. Placement. Healing. Structure.

Day one vs. Later

Most portfolios optimise for the left column. Healed First® is built for the right.

What stands out on day one
What matters later
Sharp contrast
Clear readability
Close-up detail
How it reads on the body
Fresh saturation
How the ink settled
Instant impression
Long-term structure

Before you decide

Common questions about working together and what to expect.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing is project-based and reflects time, complexity, placement, and the scale of the work. Final pricing is usually discussed after consultation.

Can I bring my own idea or references?

Yes. Most projects start with your idea. The goal is not to reject your direction, but to shape it into something that fits the body and translates well over time.

Do you do small tattoos?

Sometimes — but not every small idea is accepted. The deciding factor is whether the design can be executed in a way that still makes sense once healed.

How long does the process take?

It depends on the project. After consultation, I can give a much clearer estimate.

What makes your approach different?

Tattoos are judged by how they heal — not how they look fresh. Healed First is a way of working where design and healing are given equal care, so the tattoo still makes sense years later.

Healed First principle: A tattoo isn't finished when the session ends

A TATTOO ISN'T FINISHED WHEN THE SESSION ENDS.

It’s finished when it heals — and keeps living well.

It should be made like it.
